Abbie + Hamish

New Zealand truly is the most stunningly beautiful country in the world, and yet we still feel like there is so much we haven't explored.

We got to know Abbie And Hamish through photographing their wedding and we've become great friends. So of course we jumped at the chance, when these travellers gave us the opportunity to do a vow renewal shoot near Rotorua's geothermal wonderland at Wai o tapu.

As the steam rose naturally from the ground, Abbie read a letter to Hamish about their relationship, their first year married and looking forward to many great years ahead. We asked Abbie if she wouldn't mind sharing a part of her sweet letter;

"Hamish you are the love of my life.

Our story is my favourite. I feel lucky every day knowing how much we have overcome to be together. Since finally moving to the same country I am amazed at all that we have accomplished... if we can do this much in 18 months, I can only imagine what we can accomplish over a lifetime together.

I love you more with each passing day, and I can't wait to continue on this exciting journey we call life together.
