We love elopements for the way they let couples enjoy private moments, without an audience or stress. Spending the day together, without tradition, rules or time constraints, really allows you to live in the moment. It also allows for stunning and relaxed photos. So, when Abbi and Cat contacted us with a wild idea to elope in three days’ time —we were excited!

Abbi and Cat are shy, thoughtful, and super down to earth. So, the idea of a simple ceremony at Wellington's south coast was so perfectly them! The spot they choose was so beautiful, with its rugged rocky shores, black sand, and houses perched on the hilltops. We walked up to Point Dorset where they got married in the SWEETEST little ceremony overlooking breaker bay!

Sometimes the simple things really are so beautiful. There was no music, or arches; just the two of them on a cliff-top, promising to love each other with very cute handwritten vows. After the ceremony, with no time constraints or guests to worry about, Abbi and Cat were able to take their time and enjoy that ‘just married’ high.
